Cunard Cuts 10% for Past Guests — But Only on Two Fare Types, and Only Until 31 August

Sailed with Cunard before? There's 10% off voyages departing between January 2027 and March 2028, stackable with onboard credit. The catch is which fares qualify.

If you’ve sailed with Cunard before, there’s money off — and until 31 August to claim it.

The line has opened a 10% discount for World Club members on selected 2027 and 2028 voyages. Bookings must be made between 23 July and 31 August.

What’s actually on offer

Ten per cent off voyages of seven to 67 nights, departing between 1 January 2027 and 31 March 2028.

Eligible sailings span the fleet — Norwegian Fjords, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, World Voyage sectors and the Transatlantic Crossings.

There’s also 10% off Cunard’s Signature Packages, which bundle wi-fi, drinks and speciality dining credit.

And it stacks. Cunard says the discount can be combined with onboard credit of up to US$250 on qualifying bookings.

Claiming it is straightforward: book direct while logged in to your Cunard account and the discount is applied at checkout, or quote your World Club membership number if you’re booking through an agent.

It’s also the second Carnival-house brand leaning on its past guests this summer — P&O’s version runs all year round.

The catches

You need a World Club number. This is a past-guest offer, and membership starts only after your first Cunard voyage. First-timers get nothing.

It only applies to two fare types — Cunard Fare and Early Saver Fare. Those aren’t the cheapest rungs on the ladder, so 10% off isn’t 10% off the lowest price you could otherwise pay.

Compare the discounted Cunard Fare against the undiscounted alternative before assuming you’re ahead.

The onboard credit is in dollars — genuinely. Cunard sells in sterling to British customers, but onboard accounts run in US dollars fleet-wide, so the credit is dollar-denominated too.

US$250 is roughly £190 at current rates, and it’s “up to” — the full amount applies to balcony bookings, with less below.

And it’s a booking-window offer, not a sale on specific sailings. The deadline is when you book, not when you sail.

The bottom line

Cunard’s EMEA sales chief Iain Baillie told trade outlet Cruise Industry News that past guests are “some of our strongest advocates” — which is another way of saying this offer exists because loyal customers book early and complain less.

If you were going to book a 2027 crossing anyway, take it. Ten per cent on a two-week fare is real money, and stacking onboard credit on top makes it better.

If you weren’t, a deadline is a deadline. The sailings will still be there on 1 September, and so will Cunard’s next promotion.

Worth knowing that Queen Victoria emerges from a three-week refit this autumn — so 2027 sailings on her are a different ship from the one you may remember.

Book by 31 August 2026.
