Ambassador Cruise Line is throwing a four-night party across three decades: ‘Decks & Decades — a 70s, 80s & 90s Celebration’ sails from the Port of Tyne on 22 September 2026, with live tribute acts, themed menus and three fancy-dress nights aboard Ambition.
The North East departure is the draw for anyone in the region tired of trekking to Southampton: a short, no-fly hop from Newcastle’s doorstep, built squarely around the music, fashion and nostalgia of the seventies, eighties and nineties. Decks & Decades joins a growing line-up of interactive sailings from Ambassador — a ‘Summer of ’85 Revisited’ homage to Live Aid, ‘Back to the 70s’ and ‘Back to the 80s’ cruises, and a ‘Battle of the Bands’ pitting Beatles and Rolling Stones tribute acts against each other.
