Cruise Gazette is an independent publication, and we believe in being transparent about how we work and how the Site is funded. This page explains our editorial independence, our approach to advertising and affiliate links, and how we use images.

Editorial independence

Our reporting, reviews, and recommendations reflect our own honest assessment. Advertisers, cruise lines, and commercial partners do not get to approve, influence, or review our editorial coverage before publication. When we cover a deal, a ship, or a destination, our aim is to be genuinely useful to readers first.

Advertising

The Site displays advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. These adverts help fund our work and keep the Site free to read. Advertising is kept separate from our editorial content, and the presence of an advert does not imply our endorsement of the advertiser. Affiliate links

Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you click one and go on to make a booking or purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only ever include such links alongside coverage we would have published anyway, and they never influence our editorial judgement or the deals we choose to highlight. Where we discuss offers that are not available to UK readers, we present them as industry intelligence rather than as bookable recommendations.

Images

Many of the photographs on the Site are press and publicity images supplied by cruise lines and other providers for editorial use. We credit these images to their source — for example, “Image: [Cruise Line]”. These images remain the property of their respective owners and are used to illustrate our reporting, not as a commercial endorsement.
