Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is offering up to £150 of onboard spending credit per cabin on selected sailings between October and next May.
The deadline first: it applies to new bookings made between today and 30 September.
The sailings span the fleet, with departures from Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle and Rosyth, plus selected fly-cruises on Balmoral. Destinations run from Mediterranean history and Canaries winter sun to Christmas markets and a Northern Lights hunt.

The two fly-cruises include flights from Gatwick or Manchester and transfers, and Fred. Olsen says selected fly-cruises booked before 30 September also come with half-price flights.
Fares are Freedom Fares, which include full-board dining, selected drinks with lunch and dinner, gratuities and port taxes.
What the credit is actually worth
Read the offer the way you’d read any onboard credit deal: it’s spending money, not a discount.
And it’s per cabin. For a couple, £150 is £75 each: a spa treatment, a speciality dinner or two, or a chunk of one excursion, spread across your whole sailing.
Notice too that the credit varies. Three of Fred’s own highlighted sailings carry £150; the Northern Lights cruise carries £50. Check the figure on your specific sailing before you count it into the value.
None of which makes it a bad offer. It’s a genuine sweetener on fares that already include drinks with meals and tips. It’s just not a reason to pick a cruise. The itinerary and the fare are.
Why the window matters
Fred’s sailings are selling faster than they used to: the line says more than a quarter of its remaining 2026 departures are already sold out, and 2027 bookings are running well ahead of last year.
So the practical advice cuts both ways. Don’t rush for £150. Do check availability on the sailing you actually want before assuming it’ll still be there in the spring.
