Regent Seven Seas is going all-in on Christmas: 56 brand-new festive shore excursions and five multi-day land programmes for the 2026 holiday season, built around the Christmas markets, food and traditions of the Mediterranean.
Behind the tinsel sits the real news — the excursions support Regent’s first-ever full winter season in the Mediterranean, aboard Seven Seas Navigator, under a new “Navigate the Seasons” banner.
What’s on offer
The new tours appear on selected Navigator and Voyager sailings and on Seven Seas Prestige’s maiden voyage — several included within Regent’s all-inclusive fares, with premium “Regent Choice” options from $119.
Highlights lean into seasonal specifics rather than generic sightseeing: Málaga’s cathedral nativity and a private zambombada flamenco performance ending at the Paseo del Parque Christmas market, a Provençal day in Marseille built around the region’s Thirteen Desserts of Christmas, and Limassol’s holiday lights on Cyprus.
The five land programmes — exclusive to Navigator’s winter itineraries, from $2,399 per guest — add three-night festive extensions taking in Barcelona and Girona’s fairs, Rome and Viterbo’s markets, and Tuscany’s Montepulciano with a noble-wine tasting en route.
“The passion and traditions of the Mediterranean are in full force during the Christmas season,” said Regent president Wesley D’Silva.
The sailings — and what they cost in sterling
The accessible entry point is Voyager’s 10-night Turkish Treasures (27 November, Istanbul to Athens via Limassol’s lights), currently carrying up to 45% off and priced from £3,058 all-inclusive.
Navigator’s two festive-market voyages run deeper: the 14-night Southern Mediterranean Sojourn (7 December, Barcelona to Rome, up to 95 included excursions) from £5,959, and the Spice Trail Sail (21 December, Rome to Athens) from £6,539 — the latter spending Christmas at sea, overnighting in Alexandria, and seeing in the New Year at Rhodes.
And the headline sailing needs patience: Seven Seas Prestige’s Felices Fiestas maiden — Barcelona to Miami via Málaga’s Christmas market on 13 December — is already waitlisted.
Why it matters
A full luxury winter season in the Med is a statement. The region has long emptied of premium ships each autumn as fleets chase the Caribbean sun — but the year-round Europe trend we analysed at launch keeps gathering ships, and Regent joining it at the ultra-luxury end is the strongest endorsement yet.
